Meta's Support is a Nightmare – Our Business Manager is Now Completely Useless

I’m managing a reputable brand, and we’ve run into a major issue with our Meta Business Manager account. The account was originally linked to a previous employee who no longer has access to the phone number used for 2FA. You’d think this would be a straightforward problem to fix, but not with Meta.
We’ve been in contact with over six different support agents, each from different parts of the world. Every time, I had to explain the entire situation from scratch, and not one of them was able to offer any real help. In fact, one of them even hung up on me mid-conversation—absolutely unacceptable.
Their phone support is completely clueless. They couldn’t solve even the most basic issues. After countless emails and back-and-forth, we jumped through all the hoops they set, including verifying documents of the previous account holder. We provided everything they requested, only for them to close the case without any resolution.
When I reopened the case and asked why it was closed without being solved, I had to spend another 40 minutes explaining the situation to yet another representative. They finally told me that the documents were requested as part of some “process.” What process? They couldn’t even clarify that. And then they had the nerve to tell me it was our fault for losing the phone number linked to the account. What kind of bullshit is that?
Now, we’re stuck in a situation where our account can’t be properly linked to run ads, can’t be deleted, and essentially can’t do anything. We’re in limbo, unable to move forward, and all because of Meta’s completely incompetent support system. They’ve left us with a Business Manager that’s completely useless, and no clear path to fixing it.
Meta needs to seriously up their game with support. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.

Top Comment: Meta is the worst company on the planet. Second only to Alphabet. Where else can you spends tens of thousands even hundreds of thousands a year and not get customer service on a digital product?

Hi guys, I'm looking for a customer support contact and I can't believe that a platform like Meta doesn't have a chat option anywhere. I have a problem with a pixel that is connected and everything works, but when I want to enter it into the ads set, it does not recognize it at all and tells me that I have to create a new one.
Top Comment: THIS METHOD WORKS! Only works for those with a Shopify Account. Download the Facebook & Instagram app. Once you open it, in the top right, there will be a link to get support. Click on it, and fill out what your problem is. It doesn't have to be exact and you can really put whatever, just make sure you are pretty descriptive with the description part of the ticket. Then after that, click the Facebook Messanger Icon and within a couple minutes you will have a conversation on your Facebook Account in the messanger app... WITH A REAL PERSON and for me, at least, they didnt give me the work around, they immedietly linked me to the exact page where i needed to update information to fix my specific problem.

How many support tickets did you have to open before you finally got someone to call you and/or an email from Community Operations?
Meta support is the absolute worst thing I’ve ever experienced.

Reaching Meta Support is a nightmare

Is there a Meta Support chat or something? Any emails to reach an actual person? My business account for both Facebook and Instagram got hit with a random Ad Account restriction, and I can't for the life of me get it resolved. I've submitted review requests, where supposedly these restrictions were set on "accident"; with an over turn being declared. Then when I go to run any Ads, the system again puts a block asking for verification. Tried confirming my identity on the Meta Business Suite page and it DOES NOT WORK. It asks me to log in on my IG account, then just resets the screen... What can I do?

I have been a Meta Support Pro (former Meta Concierge Support) for some months.
In case you do not know, there's live support (email, live chat and/or phone calls) with real humans for advertisers on FB. You can google it.
I know a lot of other people that work for Meta. I have no reason to lie. You can ask me anything if you are curious. I cannot answer all questions, but I am very informed about how it works obviously.

This ticket lasted for 3 days and they were asking for questions and they were supposted to call me yesterday. I waiting 12hours after this email for and just got same copy paste AI thing from differed meta worker.
"Your request submitted via Creator Support violates our guidelines. This team only supports requests on behalf of accounts or entities (e.g., Pages, Instagram accounts) you directly manage. Further violations of the guidelines may result in loss of Creator support access. Since we have clarified your concern, we will be closing this case from our end."

They kept saying they didn't hear from the internal team again and again for me until one day the login no longer said the profile was disabled but no longer existed and they said they couldn't help anymore.

After finally finding how to contact support (it is so not easy), they insisted they had to call me. I finally after 2 hours got onto a call with a real person who asked what my problem was then hung up mid explaining. If i return to the chat i'm just talking to bots who are a dead end saying "Please select an option from Meta's most recent message" which doesn't do anything but spit out the same answer.
ANYWAY my problem is:
My business uses a shared photos album (apple iphone) for content to post. After a recent Meta update, when I go to schedule stories all my personal albums are displayed but no shared albums. It makes my work sooo much more difficult. As I am required to post 8 stories a day & now have to have an extra step where I download 8 images to my camera roll so I can then access it in the Meta Business Suite app.

Hey you put answers to why you just did this crazy rule that is explained nowhere except this deep dark hole I went down after looking for an hour: nope, another dead page.
Good thing I can ask for a review, should be an easy fix: we didn't see any request for a review.
I'm pretty sure at this point it rivals the inefficiency of any government in the world.
Sorry I can't give specific help but you're far from alone. All of the AI help also knows Meta has some absurd business weaknesses. Has to be by design.

I have this message on my ad account:
"More than 30 days have passed since you started but didn't complete a request for review of your advertising access that was restricted due to unusual activity on your account. To help ensure the security of our community, you won't be able to advertise using Meta Products. This is our final decision."
I have no idea what it is even referring to and I don't understand why they would permanently restrict my ability to advertise? Is it literally *impossible* to speak to anyone at Facebook to have this reversed because needless to say there have never been any issues with my account and I am assuming I simply missed an email verification link or something.
